La Bastide des Garrigues welcomes you for your stay with family or friends in an idyllic setting in harmony with nature. A true peace of haven, it is the ideal place to fully experience Provence and discover its surroundings.
The place can also be adapted to other events such as art exhibitions, birthdays, team sports sessions (yoga, meditation…) and team building sessions etc.
Located in the heart of Provence, in the picturesque little village of Rognes, you will enjoy an ideal location between the city of Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon region.
The village, appreciated for its truffle market, its vineyards and its old yellow stone quarries, is within walking distance. You can therefore easily visit its charming restaurants, sunny café terraces and small shops.
To get there from Marignane-Marseille airport or Aix TGV station, you will need 50 and 30 minutes respectively. Motorway access from Aix-en-Provence to Marseille is 10 minutes away and Luberon is 30 minutes away.
The architecture of La Bastide des Garrigues is unique and elegant. Built in 2015 around a Provençal bastide, it tastefully combines traditional and contemporary with its exposed stone walls and large bay windows.
It stands in the middle of a large 5000m² garden with trees, bordered by stone terraces, century-old olive trees, umbrella pines and lavender. The living space is 450m².
On sunny days, lunches and dinners can be served on the shaded terrace overlooking the 12m x 8m “water mirror” swimming pool. You can cool off and relax to the rhythm of the cicadas singing.
La Bastide des Garrigues offers large living rooms that adapt to your desires as the seasons change. It includes an orangery, to enjoy the sun and let yourself be tempted by a game of pool; a library lounge, to have tea in front of a fireplace; and a spacious lounge, to spend a relaxing moment with friends or family.
The kitchen is modern, bright and friendly. It opens completely to the outside on hot summer days.
The night space is composed of three suites and a double room. The large master suite”La Chambre Magnolia” has a private bathroom and overlooks a charming terrace on the ground floor.
The first floor opens onto three bedrooms with unique and neat decorations:”La chambre Lavande” overlooks a huge private terrace roof and a pretty communicating bathroom with”La chambre Fleur d’oranger”. The fourth,”La chambre d’Ambre” has its own bathroom and a breathtaking view over the garden.
All rooms are spacious and include all the necessary equipment such as TV, air conditioners and wifi.
